My Story

My name is Marijana Čuvalo.

I was born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, to Croatian parents. I now live in Makarska, Croatia.

I created this website for a few reasons.

To share some of my stories about living in Croatia.

To connect with people interested in sharing their stories.

And to remind myself that every chapter of my life is an adventure.

My Adriatic Adventure

My Adriatic Adventure focuses on my life in Croatia and the importance of being present, living by my values, and finding joy in the little things.

I write about people, places, feelings, and food.

And sometimes, I write about the weather - because that Bura can be intense.

I hope you enjoy my stories and photos of the things I take notice of while living in Croatia.

I hope they remind you to treat every chapter of your life as an adventure.
